Yesterday met dear at his school and I waited inside the car while he is still having school. Dear went back home to change his clothes as there’s stain on the shirt. We used GPS to find our way to Night Safari..per entry parkin is $3.90 and there are alot of tourists! So super crowded. We had our dinner at Ulu Ulu..wow, the food is superly exorbitantly priced sia..$13 for a bowl of laksa..$15 for duck rice. Wah piang eh..like 6 star restaurant priced food sia..We settled for bbq stingray and 2 bowl of rice. Total damage is $19! Well, the rice is nice though.

We went on to queue for the animal show at 7.50pm when the show starts at 8.30pm. But there are alot of people queuing already. Scary sia.. Show ended around 9.15pm. We wanted to take the tram but it costs $10 each..siao..tot is free leh..=( So we no choice have to walk on our own. So thirsty and tired sia..cheapest mineral water cost $2.50. Now I noe how zoo actually earns $$ sia. By overpriced tram cost and food cost. Singaporean like us have to starve coz we noe it is too ex to eat there, when we can have laksa $3 at Katong, 2 bottles of drinks at $2 in 7-11. Place is dark to walk..the more we walk, the more we want to slp liao. So dark, cant see much animals..some of them slp already. Haiz..

Around 10+, we drove out to go Sengkang riverside park. Nice park but nothing there, probably not yet developed. We then drove to recreation centre to look for food but only Mac and a big 7-11 there. Went on to look for the Kopitiam City which we saw when we drove past there on fri. But this time round, we cant find it. Well, it’s actually at Buangkok MRT. Nice place, houses are nice too! Managed to find parking lot at basement carpark, ate at the 24h Kopitiam and dear bought a market trolley to give his mum to use.

Had a long night with dear and dear sent me home at 6.45am. Went home, I continue to slp and dear also continue to slp till 1.30pm!! hehe..we have a long night and long sleep too! Nice weekend spent. It’s been few months since we spend a long day together. The last time was probably back in Feb09 when we were in Melbourne. I’m so happy today!! Muack.

Today dear drives his car to fetch me at my house and we went to have the car washed at Katong area for $7. 1st time took the Citroen car with dear driving so was very excited! I’m happy today coz dear gets to drive me around. Even though we go the wrong way many times, the experience is still fantastic coz we get to spend more time together. We have his car parked at a public carpark away from Sim Lim Square (free parking oh) and walked to Sim Lim Square to buy USB fan and speaker for dear’s desktop. Though today only spend few hours with dear, it’s a great time spent! Hopefully dear will drive me around in the car more often..hehe.. I just love the way my dear drives. He’s so charming and handsome when he drives. So cool sia. Hehe. It’s nice to have someone you love to fetch you and send you home everytime. I just feel so loved! (“,)

Today is the 3rd day in Melbourne. Dear starts his 1st day of school at RMIT Bundoora and he’ll be going on a field trip. We woke up in the middle of the night to watch Man Utd playing against West Ham, then we went back to sleep as dear needs enough rest as he’ll be having long day in school today. Woke up earlier den dear, ironed his clothes, prepared breakfast for him. We have cornflakes with banana and milk. Dear didn’t eat finish as it’s too much already so I ate for him. Well, dear has to leave the room a 8.15am as his friends are waiting for him at the lobby to go school together and they will be driving car there. It’s quite convenient and near for them as the school is just straight journey down along the road by the hotel.

I went back to sleep on the Dream Bed as it’s too nice and comfortable to sleep le!! I simply love the bed and the comforter is so nice to tuck in but dear will sure miss the bed as he only gets to spend 7-8 hours a day sleeping on the bed..at least after he goes to school, I can still go back to sleep..heheh..This time I’m clever, I left the ‘Do Not Disturb’ tag on the door knob so housekeeping will not come around knocking the door and wake me up like yest!! Yest the housekeeping actually shouted ‘Housekeeping’ and knock on the door few times at 9am!! Obviously we were still sleeping so didn’t bother, and the housekeeper actually opened the door thinkin we are not in!! So scary sia..Lucky i get to the door in time to say we are still sleeping..hahah..

Today I didn’t go out as dear is worried about me going out alone as it’s quite dangerous. So i stayed in the room to surf internet and watch movies. I watched ‘Knocked Up’ and it’s quite a nice movie. The housekeeper came in the afternoon to change the linen and clean the dishes for me. It’s quite good service leh..at least my bed is made and new linen for us to sleep on! hee.. Dear had a long day at the field trip, visiting lamb farm and turbine area. He reached school only at 7pm and reached hotel near to 8pm, the sky is still bright though, so will think that it’s still early.. Missed dear so much. His friends went to Target Centre for dinner and I whipped up a simple dinner for me and dear using the simple ingredients we got at Safeway supermarket last night.

I cooked my usual potato with sausage in some sauce (which is supposedly used to cook chicken or pork), fried lean chicken fillet and eggs. Our rice is those packet rice which are cooked and just required few mins in the microwave oven to heat up. However, the rice tasted horrible and very hard! So I used it to cook fried rice with the remaining eggs we have and it turns out great! heheh.. With the limited resources given to me to whip up this dinner, I still enjoyed it alot. I can see dear loves the dinner as well. It was a fantastic night in a fantastic room with my fantastic dear having a not so fantastic dinner but still enjoying every moment of it. This dinner, though simple, still tastes nicer than those we had outside coz it’s prepared with my love for dear. Dear loves my cooking, even if it tasted lousy..he will still enjoy it. Thanks dear.

After dinner, had a walk with dear around the hotel. Went to the outdoor deck just outside our room at 7th storey which is catered for guests who wished to sun tan there. But no one will be so crazy to sun tan in bikini when the weather is like 20 degrees celsius! haha. Went back to our room and watched tv while lying on the dream bed, dear’s friends called to say they coming up our room. Dear is unpleased with the arrangement but still obliged their requestes. It turned out that they didn’t have their dinner at Target, instead they bought lots of grocery and decided to use our room’s kitchenette to cook their dinner!!! How can this be??!! Haiz..apparently our room’s kitchenette is fully furnished and cleaner than the 1 at their hotel next door which is a common kitchen. It’s like already close to 10pm! Haiz..finally I thought I can spend some quality time alone with dear with no disturbance yet this happened! Well, they enjoyed their dinner while me and dear were quite unhappy lying on our bed surfing internet and watchin tv. Worst of all, they were chatting along having their dinner at our dining table, as if nothing is happening and forget our existence. Sad sia..I thought I can spend time alone with dear during this holiday, it seems like our room attracts his friends so often that our time alone became very limited sia. Finally they left the room around 11pm and we can have our rest. By that time, dear is so tired, I’m so tired, how to stay up to chat on the bed like we used to do? To talk about life, about things that happened that day etc? They left the kitchen unclean somemore..aiyo..headache sia..I’ve to do the cleaning again! Anyway, we both went to sleep after cleaning up and it was like 12+ already..dear needs alot of rest leh..somemore tonight is the only night to sleep on the dream bed as we are moving to Sleep and Go tml. Well, at least we both enjoyed the dinner together. These are the pics taken today:

Today is our 2nd day in Melbourne! Well, dear’s frenz came to our room in the morning when dear is still sleeping!! Poor darling, cant even sleep nicely with them around. They followed me up to our room when they caught me just in time at the lobby as I wanted to look for butter to cook nice sausage for dear to eat. I cant reject them ma..so brought them up and I do my cooking for dear’s breakfast. Put sausage in microwave oven to heat it up and toast baguette for dear to eat! My dear loves to have his baguette toasted and v v crispy oh.. Dear washed up and after eating breakfast, his friends went to check into their hotel room next door at Sleep and Go, and to fetch Gladys frm airport after that.

Finally I’ve my personal time alone with my darling. We spent time in our room watching tv and surfing internet. Dear wanted to spend time with me only and not go out, but his frenz together with Gladys came to our room and asked us to go to CBD. Dear is reluctant but still obliged. He has a pretty black face though..hahaha

Well, yesterday’s and today’s weather at this time is so different! Yesterday is at 48 degrees celsius..today is at 20.5 degrees celsius!! What the heck is going on??

1st stop: We came to Queen Victoria Market as it is closing at 4pm today so we rushed to get there in time to do some shopping. Bought a nice jacket and the price is dirt cheap sia..$12 for a jacket!!! Can u imagine that? Such a good deal so I’m not gg to missed it..bought 1 for myself. I oso bought a kangaroo-cum-Koala soft toy for my sis..well, kill 2 birds with 1 stone la..she wans both animals ma..

2nd stop: Here we are at Bourke Street Mall..Nice place for shopping..Dear can’t wait to go to Target Centre at Chinatown, which is very nearby as we unknowingly walked there from Bourke Street Mall in minutes..Well, not batman toys for dear at Target but we did buy an Iron Spider Variant at $17.95 over at David Jones. Dear is a HAPPY boy!! =) Walked to Royal Arcade with dear..went many shops but didn’t really buy much things. Dear got me a blue name tag from the souvenir shop though. Thanks dear!!

3rd Stop: Docklands. Went to Southern Cross Station but all shops have closed as it’s already close to 7pm. Wanted to go to DFO but it closed at 6pm. Another day perhaps. Walked around the station, nice weather and nice view. Went to the entrance of Telstra Dome and saw the architecture..it’s beautiful! Unfortunately, we are not able to enter the stadium as the tour has ended. Had our dinner at Nandos..What i want to say is..CHICKEN again!! Sianz sia..haha..no choice la..tink chicken is the cheapest there. Went back to hotel after that and again, they stayed in our room for awhile before willing to go back as they need to send Gladys back to her hotel.

Reached hotel at 1pm and checked in to our room. Beautiful and love my room alot!! Unpack some stuff and went to change our outfit to start our journey to Great Ocean Road as dear’s friends will drive us there. We are so tired with no sleep in the plane and now, dear’s friends want to bring us out to explore so we obliged even if we are extremely exhausted!!

Weather is freaking hot in Melbourne that afternoon, rising to a temperature of 48 degrees celsius!!! Goodness! The wind is strong though, but imagine the wind is hot wind and blowing at you all the time, you’ll wonder if u feel hot or cool at times..

Dear and I slept through the whole hour in the car while his friend drove us to Great Ocean Road..but the journey is so long that even when we woke up, we are only a quarter way to our destination. It took us about 2hours to finally reach the Great Ocean Road. The view is simply breath-taking.. The air is cool and nice.. Houses are built there with absolute view of the vast ocean! Maybe I can consider living there with dear when we retire in future..hehe. Here are some pictures we took on our way along Great Ocean Road..=)

After another 30mins of driving then do we reached the Great Ocean Road Entrance..er, so previously are we on Great Ocean Road?? haha..dear’s friends still can say previously the places we stopover is the PRE-Great Ocean Road..now then is the real Great Ocean Road..Ahh..Watever..haha..

Had our lunch at 4pm at the restaurant along Great Ocean Road..I shared a pizza with dear and the pizza is super salty!! Oh goodness..I can’t finish the pizza as it is too salty for consumption. The food there is either too salty or too sweet..haiz..I missed Singapore’s food all of a sudden as I like plain food more.

After our lunch, we took turns to drive the car to CBD as the journey is again another 2 hours so it’s best to share the burden and drive the car. Great, I drove it and scare all the other passengers as I swerve off lane many times until dear has to hold the steering wheel for me. So sorry dear..I’ll brush up my driving skills oh!! But I’m happy because dear drove me for the first time!!! There’s alot of first times for me and dear in this trip..hehe..HAPPY!!

Drove into CBD, saw many buildings and even a car dealer for Ferrari! Ooh..it’s not easy to see Ferrari dealer in CBD in Singapore hor..so took some pictures with dear. Went to Chinatown for a walk and along the area before we drove back to our hotel. On the way, we dropped by Safeway supermarket (Surprisingly it’s closed at 12am, unlike other stores which all closed at 6pm) and buy lots of food to store in our refrigerator as our room has 1 big fridge! Waited patiently at the boarding gate A12 in T3, Changi Airport for dear as I checked in earlier. When dear arrived and told me to wait for him at B9 instead, I’m puzzled..Turns out that the boarding gate to Melbourne has changed to B9 and the one i’m waiting for is to Barcelona. Shit! I should have act blur and ask dear to go Barcelona with me..hahaha..well, tt’s super highly impossible! Anyway, went to boarding gate with dear and we were so excited as we board our plane, SQ 237 (departing 11.40pm). This is our 1st time going overseas together..we were excited and happy!!

We both had very little sleep in the plane, or shall I say almost NO sleep in the plane. We were served with supper at SG time 1.30am or so, by the time we eat fin is like 2+ in the morning. Could not sleep immediately as you feel super full so we watched movies. I watched Connected while dear watched Cars. Around 3 plus, I’m so tired so i caught some sleep but poor darling is unable to sleep! We were disturbed at SG time 5am (which is around 6+ at the local time) to eat breakfast. Shit!! We are freaking tired!! Well, had breakfast and waiting to land at Melbourne Tullamarine Airport. Reached Melbourne at local time 10am.

Checked in to our hotel and it is super nice!!! I really love my room and especially, Rydges Dream Bed!! Fabulously Fantastic!!

Today went to Siglap to visit my cousin..hmm..nothing much to talk about probably due to age gap but was still nice to know how they have been doing after awhile. Here comes the Iron Man.. Anticipated this collectible edition figure since last year!!! Finally Iron Man has landed in Singapore to fight all the bad guys for me..hahah..no la, for dear actually.. It costs us $225..so it better protect us from evil people..“wah piang eh..$225 for an armoured bodyguard who is a multi-billionaire, can fly and fight bad guys, tt’s really worth it sia..” wahahahaha..=D

The figure is nice, glossy paint job with a combination of its signature red and gold armour..tt’s Iron Man Mark III figure. Can’t wait to get our Mark II, silver Iron Man.. Didn’t really pose much for the figure as I’m afraid to spoil it so better to leave it to dear to handle his favourite character. Its chestplate will light up as well but I didn’t on it..probably post more pics when I pass the toy to dear.

Yesterday went to visit my godparents at Sembawang for bai nian..their house v far la..to tink from Marine Parade go to Sembawang took us around 1.5hours to reach..hmm, if only I’ve a car, tt’s a different story! Ok, since my relatives all ask me to get a car, that shall be my new goal probably for next year la, coz no $$$! Reached their house at 5.45pm..hmm..talk talk abit..den they serve the dinner. My godfather’s cooking is the best! Everytime muz sure eat his homecooked food..nice! Play blackjack with my godsisters and their auntie..well, I became the banker for awhile and won $60 or maybe more..lost count coz i blackjack about 5 times as a banker and 3 times as normal player..feel bad to win their $$, afterall they are still young and earning less.. Anyway, had a great time spending time with my godparents coz see them once a year only..and especially I won $$..=D Took some pics but din managed to take with them..
